Iowa Jaycees Hawkeye Corps

Mission Statement: To recognize outstanding local and regional Jaycee leaders and serve as a resource to the Iowa Jaycees.

Activities:

• Subsidize expenses of National competitors through fundraising
• Provide training in the ID competition areas
• Provide experienced judges for State ID competitions
• Host State Competitor’s Reception during each All-State
• Meet other Iowa Jaycee needs as requested

Eligibility Requirements:

• Display outstanding Jaycee leadership qualities as a member for at least two (2) years or serve as a Local Chapter President.
• Display a devotion to the advancement of Iowa Jaycees through the ID Competitions area.
• Display an interest and willingness to participate as an ID Trainer and/or Judge.

If you know of someone that you would like to nominate, please fill out the nomination form found at: http://www.iowajaycees.org/Library/HawkeyeCorpsApplication.pdf. Please allow one convention turn around time for award presentations to be done (i.e. have forms in by Summer All-State for presentation at the Fall All-State.) We can only accept up to 2 new Corps members from each Region per quarter. By Spring 2006 only 428 “Colonels” have received these honored wings.
